Instructional Designer - positions : USD ,/- (LKR. ,/-)

• Design effective, engaging and high-quality e-learning instructional subject materials for high school subjects (Add Maths, Maths, Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English)
• Identify suitable instructional design strategies and learning methodologies to provide the best possible learning experience for learners.
• Ensure clear use of language and grade-level suitability according to requirements in curricular documents.
• Assist subject matter experts in developing storyboards which are used to create learning modules and to direct the multimedia team during production.
• Review and evaluate each stage of module development and ensure all components are adhering to the design specifications providing excellence in course quality.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content development aligns to learning outcome, to assist in defining learning sequence, to help create meaningful learning interactions, to visualize the final instructional components, and to clearly communicate the vision with all team members in a multicultural environment.
• Facilitate the Instructional design process between subject Matter experts, graphic designers, and programmers towards ensuring the storyboards are translated into effective e-Learning modules.
• create and improve rapid prototyping tools (Storyboard, visual layouts, and interaction templates)

Job Requirement:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in any relevant field
• Minimum years of relevant working experience in Instructional Content Designing.
• Applicants who have experience in developing K school contents encouraged to apply.

• Work within a team to develop subject matter contents for online higher secondary school curriculum.
• Develop subject materials by performing content research, preparation of materials and final production of storyboards for e-learning contents.
• Work with other team members, such as Programmers, graphic designers, writers and instructional Designers in order to produce an effective learning module in context with the implementation of self-learning methodologies.
• develop model exam questions, including solutions and explanations.
• Create interactive exercises and activities to support learning outcomes.
• Respond to queries from students and moderate Learning Management System (LMS) discussions on the particular subject.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Mathematics with strong academic credentials
• Minimum years of teaching experience in higher secondary school level
• Exposure in international curriculum such as O Level / IGCSE / Malaysian SPM would be an added advantage.
• Recently retired or outstanding school teachers are highly encouraged to apply.
• Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
