Instructor - Information Technology

Roles and Responsibilities

• Effectively deliver IT lecturers / practical sessions offered by the institute within the guidelines provided.
• Conduct sessions for certificate, diploma and undergraduate programmes as well as short term industrial training courses.
• Design, Develop and deliver academic programmes, training courses and proposals
• Coordinate and liaise with students, faculty and stakeholders regarding academic affairs
• Conduct research and assist management with academic programmes/projects

Qualifications and Pre-requisites

• Should possess a NVQ level or above qualification relating to IT/Computer science
• Ability to teach in English and Sinhala media
• Ability to work during weekends is mandatory
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Preference will be given to the candidates with minimum -year teaching experience in a recognized institute
• Salary - Negotiable
• Nature of appointment - Full time contract with provision for permanent appointment based on performance
