Teaching Vacancies - August - Colombo

Are you able to challenge and inspire A Level students? Do you have high expectations for students and yourself? Are you looking for a new post-pandemic challenge? And would you enjoy being part of a high-end, academically rigorous new school which blends the best of traditional and forward-thinking education? If so, we would like to hear from you.

Perhaps you are recently retired. Or returning to work after a break. Maybe you are a private tuition teacher who likes the idea of a part-time, morning job at an ambitious academic school Or a graduate professional who is interested in teaching something creative about which you are passionate as well as remaining in your current job. Or you might just be someone who fancies a change after the difficult two years we've all just endured.

Brightly College is an exciting and brand new International A Level College in the heart of Colombo, offering a wide range of Cambridge A Levels, including many not currently taught anywhere else in Sri Lanka. Places will be offered to students from both Local and International Schools, following their GCE O Levels or IGCSEs.

Founded by passionate educationalists Linda Speldewinde and Andrew Fowler-Watt, Brightly will be situated in the iconic and stimulating Colombo Innovation Tower on Duplication Road, which is already home to another vibrant and successful educational institution, The Academy of Design.

We have vacancies in the following subject areas:
Sciences : Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, IT, Marine Science, Physics

Commerce : Economics, Business, Accounting

Humanities : English Literature, Geography, Global Perspectives, History, Psychology

Creative and Vocational : Art and Design, Digital Media and Design, Drama, Law, Travel and Tourism
