Zahira College Colombo is one of the leading educational establishments with more than years of history. Under the leadership of the Board of Governors, a series of steps have been taken in recent years to upgrade the College, its educational activities which are conducted in all three media namely, Sinhala, Tamil and English and very specially sports.

We are looking for energetic, dynamic, proactive personnel with a good track record plus relevant educational background and experience for the following posts.

Teachers

• Arabic and Islam - English medium
• History - Sinhala medium and English medium
• Health and Science - Tamil medium
• Science - Sinhala medium
• Information Communication Technology - Sinhala medium
• Political Science - Tamil medium and Sinhala medium
• Information Communication Technology - Vocational (part time)
  

Each Teacher has to report to the Head of the section of the college and Head of the Section who directly reports to Deputy principal through the Vice Principals. All the Teachers are expected to improve the performance of the students in their respective areas.

The eligible candidate must be:

• A graduate of a recognized University in Sri Lanka or Overseas (UGC approved) with supporting degrees.
• An experienced person with more than years at the same position and should have the background to handle students.
• The candidates who have successfully followed PGDE (Post Graduate Diploma in Education) will be prioritised.
  

Remuneration
Negotiable and on par with Government School Salary standards to commensurate with experience and qualifications.
