The Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) is a leading institute offering undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees in information Technology, Business Management and Engineering.

The Faculty of Computing of SLIIT is the home of more than academic staff and an ever-growing cohort of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The faculty offers a broad range of cutting edge undergraduate and postgraduate programs and encourages a strong research culture. In addition to Bachelors and coursework based Masters programs, the Faculty of Computing offers MPhil and PhD degree programs as well.
We are inviting top rated applicants for permanent positions at the Senior Lecturer (Higher Grade) and Lecturer levels. The appointees will contribute to the research and teaching in the broad areas of Information Technology and Computer Science. We are particularly seeking applicants with strong track records in one or more of the following areas.

• Software Engineering

• Data Communication and Networking

• Interactive Media
• Database Management Systems
• Embedded Systems
• Robotics

Qualification and experience required are given below.

Senior Lecturer (Higher Grade)
======================

• A relevant st or nd class honours undergraduate degree and a PhD, OR
• A relevant undergraduate degree and a relevant Master's degree and a PhD,

AND

• years experience in research, teaching or industry experience after graduation
• Good publication record in reputed journals.

Lecturer
=======

• A relevant st or nd class honours undergraduate degree and a PhD, OR
• A relevant undergraduate degree and a relevant Master's degree

AND

• One year experience in teaching at Degree level or industry experience.
• At least research publications in reputed journals.
