Trinity College Kandy seeks an individual with drive, professionalism, and creative excellence for Trinity College Chess Programme. The Selected candidate will come directly under the administrative purview of the Principal within the College Sports Management & High-Performance framework.

Applicants should have;

• Five year or more of recent chess coaching experience, with at least three years in coaching school teams with a proven track record and reference
• Minimum of two years of provincial or national competitive chess coaching experience
• Fluency in English (ability to communicate and coach)
• The ability to work well within a team environment and mentor junior coaches
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of collaboration are also imperative, as is the ability to articulate and deliver an overall vision for Trinity Chess
• Strong desire and dedication to the development of young players
• The ability to carry out lessons in individual and group settings
• Willingness to work flexible hours

Salary - Will be on par with qualifications, experience and other relevant criteria

Important - Potential candidates are requested to disclose their previous coaching stints with Trinity College if relevant and any personal/professional associations they might had/had with anyone connected with the College.
