Lecturer in English (Full-Time)


We seek qualified, committed and experienced professionals from academia for the above position, so that our esteemed faculty can be further strengthened in this subject area and play a vital role in the academic success and institutional growth.

Responsibilities

• Taking full responsibility of the modules taught, updating / preparing the teaching materials, and conducting and marking the required assessments as per the required guidelines.
• Delivering lectures as per the institutional requirements.
• Coordinating with UCL and partner University teams on academic matters and maintaining a high standard of teaching and providing student support and guidance
• Providing feedback and maintaining a positive atmosphere for students which is conducive to learning.
• Supporting the academic team to meet the educational objectives, and participating in the institutional growth activities.

Candidate Profile

• Should have a Bachelors / MSc degree in English or a related field from a well-recognized local or an international university.
• Teaching at University or high school level related to English, Composition, Academic Writing, Communication Skills, Notetaking and Study Skills, Presentation Skills, Professional / Business Communication.
• Candidates with CELTA, TEFL, TESOL or other English Teaching related Certificates will be given preference.
• Experience in teaching and mentoring students at a reputable school or higher education institute
• Skills to guide students with diverse backgrounds, commitment to improving student learning experiences and excellent communication skills re considered necessary to carry out the academic goals of this institution.
