We are looking for a competent female Matron to manage and look after the administration of the Viakha Vidyalaya Hostel. The ideal candidate should be a dedicated and kind-hearted past graduate/trained teacher and be able to handle the total operation of the hostel.

Your Job Role

• Handling students and hostel staff
• Monitoring and identifying food, medical, hygienic and other related needs of students.
• Ensuring students’ education and behaviour
• Maintaining a high level of discipline among students.
• Resolving related problems

What you should have

• Excellent communication skills (Both Sinhala and English)
• Be above years of age.
• Having previous experience as a matron would be advantageous.
• Ability to deal with emergencies.
• Organisational and practical skills

The selected candidate is expected to live in the hostel
