Teaching duties include lecturing, tutorial and laboratory support, projects supervision; and all staff contribute to the administrative work of the department. Several other staff have been supported to pursue postgraduate programs in leading universities in Sri Lanka. In addition, IIT also provides assistance to staff to carry out collaborative research with industry.

A recently revised package includes a salary commensurate with your qualifications, experience and research activity.
